About Us

Welcome to the Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter School’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). We are a group of dedicated parents, educators, and community members working together to support and advocate for students with special needs. Our mission is to empower families, provide resources, and collaborate with schools to ensure every child receives the education and support they deserve. Please join us as we work to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all students.

In addition to advocacy, SEPAC hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including educational workshops, guest speaker sessions, and support groups tailored to the needs of parents and caregivers. These events offer valuable information, practical strategies, and a space to connect with other families facing similar challenges. We aim to empower parents with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the special education system, advocate for their children, and build a strong, supportive community. Whether you’re seeking guidance, resources, or simply a listening ear, SEPAC is here to support you every step of the way.

Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding.”

~ Robert John Meehan, Educator and Poet
